Pacific Deepwater Access
Access to highly efficient coastal infrastructure is the competitive advantage of our Peruvian operations. The majority of central polymetallic ores are consolidated and shipped via the Port of Callao, the largest and busiest port on the West Coast of South America.
For the massive copper output of the southern mining corridor, we utilize the specialized Port of Matarani. Both facilities feature advanced covered conveyor systems to ensure environmentally safe, high-speed loading of Handymax and Supramax bulk vessels destined directly for the Pacific Rim and Asian smelters.
Andean Sustainability & Water Stewardship
Mining in the Peruvian Andes presents unique environmental responsibilities, particularly regarding water scarcity and community relations. HUTKA SA partners exclusively with mining operators that utilize advanced water recovery systems (such as thickened tailings and seawater desalination) and heavily integrate community development programs. We enforce stringent ESG protocols to ensure the Peruvian minerals powering the global energy transition are extracted with absolute respect for local ecosystems and indigenous populations.
High-Altitude Freight & Infrastructure
We leverage the Ferrocarril Central Andino, one of the highest and most complex railways in the world, to move heavy concentrates efficiently from the mountains down to Callao.
Covered Bulk Storage
To prevent dust emissions and environmental contamination, all concentrates are stored in hermetically sealed, negative-pressure warehouses directly at the port terminals.
TML Moisture Control
Peruvian coastal humidity requires vigilant cargo management. BQCIS strictly monitors stockpile moisture, enforcing IMSBC Transportable Moisture Limits before any ocean departure.
Direct Pacific Routing
Our Lima desk coordinates continuous bulk vessel charters, providing the shortest trans-Pacific transit times for South American copper and zinc bound for the Asian market.
Customs & Export Documentation
Our Lima compliance officers ensure all materials clear SUNAT seamlessly, securing clean title transfer and ensuring rapid, uninterrupted vessel dispatch.
