Die-Casting Excellence

HUTKA SA supplies premium ADC12 (Al-Si-Cu) aluminum alloy ingots, strictly conforming to the Japanese Industrial Standard JIS H 5302. Revered globally for its exceptional castability, low thermal shrinkage, and excellent pressure tightness.

Engineered specifically for High-Pressure Die Casting (HPDC), ADC12 is the critical foundation for the automotive and heavy machinery sectors. It is the preferred alloy for manufacturing high-stress components such as engine blocks, transmission cases, cylinder heads, and industrial housings.

Aluminum Alloy Processing

Chemical Composition & Assay Limits

Our ADC12 complies strictly with international die-casting limits. The precisely balanced Silicon (Si) provides excellent fluidity, while Copper (Cu) enhances mechanical strength and machinability. Iron (Fe) is strictly capped to prevent die soldering.

Primary Alloy Elements (%)
Aluminum (Al)Remainder
Silicon (Si)9.60% — 12.00%
Copper (Cu)1.50% — 3.50%
Iron (Fe)0.90% Max (Strictly controlled)
Zinc (Zn)1.00% Max
Trace Elements & Limits (%)
Magnesium (Mg)0.30% Max
Manganese (Mn)0.50% Max
Nickel (Ni)0.50% Max
Tin (Sn)0.20% Max
Other Elements (Total)0.20% Max

Secure Warehousing & Handling

Proper storage of secondary aluminum is critical to prevent moisture absorption, which can cause dangerous hydrogen gas pockets during the remelting process at customer foundries.

HUTKA SA operates high-capacity, covered staging facilities at major export nodes. Bundles are stored in completely dry, well-ventilated conditions on concrete flooring, ensuring ingots remain completely free of environmental degradation or “white rust” prior to containerization.

Driving the Circular Economy

ADC12 is the cornerstone of sustainable manufacturing. Produced almost entirely from recycled aluminum scrap, smelting ADC12 requires 95% less energy than producing primary aluminum from bauxite ore. By integrating this alloy into your supply chain, your organization directly supports global Net-Zero mandates and closed-loop automotive manufacturing.

Ingot Logistics & Export Protocols

Phase 01
BQCIS Pre-Loading Assay

Independent surveyors visually inspect the ingots and utilize rigorous spectrographic analysis on random melt samples to confirm exact adherence to JIS H 5302 limits.

Phase 02

Industrial Bundling

ADC12 ingots (approx 5-8kg each) are interlocking-stacked into secure bundles weighing ~1 Metric Ton. Bundles are bound tightly using high-tensile galvanized steel strapping.

Phase 03

Runner Integration

To eliminate the need for wooden pallets and maximize container payload, bundles are cast with integrated aluminum runner ingots at the base, allowing for seamless forklift access.

Phase 04

FCL Containerization

Bundles are forklift-loaded into standard 20′ FCL containers. Each container securely accommodates approximately 22 to 25 Metric Tons. ISO standard bolt seals are applied immediately.

Standard Commercial Documentation

Every shipment is cleared for international customs with a comprehensive, fully compliant document packet dispatched via express courier to the buyer’s bank or office.
