Global Logistics
& Physical Execution.
While our Trading Division secures the contract, the Operations Division commands the physical reality. Operating across our five regional hubs, this team executes the flawless movement of millions of metric tons of heavy cargo from the extraction site to the final destination port, ensuring product integrity at every transfer point.
Cross-Border & Deepwater Freight
Moving dense, high-value commodities across international borders requires an ironclad logistical framework. The Operations Division coordinates a multi-modal transport network that spans the Americas.
We manage trans-Andean trucking routes from high-altitude South American mines, execute seamless USMCA rail transfers from Mexico into the US industrial belt, and charter massive Handysize and Supramax bulk vessels for trans-Pacific and trans-Atlantic ocean freight. By owning the logistical architecture end-to-end, we isolate our clients from global supply chain disruptions.
Terminal Operations & Consolidation
The transition from land to sea is the most critical phase of physical trading. Our Operations Directors manage dedicated stockpile staging and warehousing at prime deepwater terminals, including Callao, Vancouver, Manzanillo, and Buenos Aires.
We oversee advanced covered-conveyor loading to mitigate dust emissions and strictly monitor cargo moisture levels. Because elements like copper and zinc concentrates are highly susceptible to liquefaction during ocean transit, our ground teams enforce rigid IMSBC Transportable Moisture Limit (TML) protocols before any vessel is cleared for departure.
Core Operational Mandates
The Operations Division is structured to eliminate friction in the supply chain, ensuring that physical delivery, chemical compliance, and legal clearance happen seamlessly.
Freight Routing
Dynamic management of inland rail, heavy-haul trucking, and ocean vessel charters. This team optimizes transit routes to minimize demurrage costs and guarantee Just-In-Time (JIT) deliveries to our global smelting partners.
Quality Assurance
The ultimate guardians of our material specifications. Coordinating directly with independent surveyors like BQCIS, this team verifies load-port assays, spectrographic purity tests, and wet metric tonnage (WMT) draft surveys.
Customs & Export
Navigating complex international trade law. Operations compliance officers ensure all cargo clears export protocols flawlessly, managing Pedimentos, DUS, DAM, and C-TPAT security requirements to secure clean title transfer.
Secure & Sustainable Transit
The physical movement of commodities poses distinct environmental and security challenges. The Operations Division strictly enforces secure transit protocols, including GPS-tracked convoys for high-value strategic minerals. Furthermore, we mandate environmentally safe handling at all port facilities, utilizing hermetically sealed warehouses and covered loading systems to protect local coastal ecosystems from contamination.
